I chose Amy to fit and alter my wedding dress. All I can say is what a brilliant job. Lovely personable and professional service and the dress was fitted second to none! Amy did an amazing job on my daughter's dress; knew exactly what she was doing and had great ideas. My daughter happily danced the night away. |
Amy took in my favourite trousers and a skirt I found in a charity shop that was several sizes too big. Both done very well, very happy and would take stuff to her again.' Amy did a couple of small repairs for me, at a very reasonable price. Good job and great communication. She made it really hassle-free. |

Sustainability is at the heart of what I do!
I use carefully sourced materials including:
- Deadstock which is usually surplus or leftover stock which would otherwise have gone to landfill.
- Organic cotton which uses no harmful chemicals in the growing process.
- Vintage bedding and other soft furnishing fabrics which allow me to create one of a kind pieces.
I minimise waste:
- Cutting clothing pieces to use as much of the fabric as possible. This makes each garment unique!
- Using scraps to create smaller items such as bunting or for stuffing products.
Alterations and repairs:
- I encourage my clients to work with what they have got, either by repairing what is broken or adjusting/upcycling what doesn't quite fit.
